Our mission is to educate, empower and equip the Tampa Bay Area to prevent exploitation and human trafficking. Free in-person or virtual group training, self defense classes, street outreach, student internet safety presentations and participating in major public awareness events are just a few ways we are involved in Tampa Bay.
Human Trafficking 101 Training
Host a free seminar at your church, workplace or club to further educate your group about how human trafficking and exploitation affects us and our children. This seminar is geared for an adult audience, and can be conducted either IN-PERSON OR VIRTUALLY.

Internet Safety Training
Host a free training for your church, non-profit, business, PTA or other parent/child organization. Seminars can be geared towards parents, mixed audiences of parents with their children, or youth only in an age-appropriate presentation.

School Training
Stop The Movement works with you to deliver the training that suits your needs and available time. We will train staff, students from first grade through high school and parents, all in a relevant and age-appropriate manner. The average age of a trafficked or exploited victim is twelve, so it is mandatory that this conversation happens early and often!

Self-Defense Classes
We believe that empowerment, confidence and situational awareness are important steps towards prevention and intervention! Partnering with top-notch self-defense instructors, we offer classes for kids, teens and women. In addition to self-defense strategies and techniques, the kids classes also feature a talk on digital safety and the women's classes discuss dating safety and online threats.​

Street Outreach
Our Street Outreach is where prevention and intervention intersect. On Saturday afternoons our team heads out into known areas where human trafficking exists and speaks with vulnerable individuals. We initiate conversations by handing out "blessing bags" filled with food, water, cosmetics, toiletries. and valuable resource cards. Strict safety protocols are followed.
